CAITLIN PHELPS LIMHP, LIMFT
Hi, I’m Caitlin. I believe our experiences shape the way we see ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us. Many of the patterns we develop are rooted in experiences that once helped us cope, protect ourselves, or navigate difficult situations. In therapy, we can approach these patterns with curiosity and compassion, while exploring new ways of responding that feel more aligned with who you are today. I work collaboratively with clients to make sense of what they’ve experienced, recognize the strengths they already carry, reconnect with their inherent worthiness, and develop new ways of navigating life’s challenges.
My work is collaborative, relational, and trauma-informed. I integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS), Attachment Theory, Narrative Therapy, and EMDR, tailoring my approach to each client’s needs and goals. My areas of focus include anxiety and OCD; childhood trauma and other adverse experiences; relationship challenges; life transitions; burnout; and low self-esteem.
Outside of the therapy room, I love spending time with friends and family, trying new recipes in the kitchen, planning my next concert adventure, and cheering on the Huskers. You'll often find me taking my dog, Hutch, on a walk while listening to a great playlist or podcast. My favorite role outside of being a therapist is being "Aunt Cait-Cait" to my nieces and nephews.
Beginning therapy can feel like a big step, and I would be honored to support you in that process. I invite you to reach out so we can see if we might be a good fit to work together.
